Alive! I'm alive!

It's kind of hard to keep track of the dates nowadays, I swear. So from now on, I'd probably start posting from where I'd left off. And based on Blogger, my last post was last February 23. So yeah, I'll just start from the day after that.

We've finally finished our term paper and I couldn't be more glad!! Earlier today, I passed our Filipino project and on Thursday will be our Rizal project. I really need to get those off my hands soon or I'll basically go insane. It's pretty crazy how we're only Freshmen students now yet the Uni's trying to exterminate us with heavy term papers and course requirements. Sigh.

Anyway! I've started practicing the ~*photoshop skillz*~ once again, and I've downloaded these awesome brushes from deviantart!

(If you can just ignore my face, thank you. Haha.)

Before I forget, I also made a really short playlist tonight. This sounds cheesy but it's a compilation of all the Colbie Caillat songs that I love the most.

  1. Feelings Show
  2. The Little Things
  3. Somethin' Special
  4. Begin Again
  5. I Never Told You
  6. You Got Me
  7. Falling For You
  8. Never Let You Go

Term Paper vs. Harlem Shake? (And Brother's birthday)

Before proceeding to the term paper vs. Harlem Shake thing, I would like to greet the most passive, subliminal yet loving brother ever.

I just know that he's going to be such a great Engineer one day because he may not be good at being an older brother, but he is too damn good in Math. So yeah, I guess that makes up for being a bad sibling. Just kidding Kuya! He pretty much dislikes celebrating and stuff, so we're just literally sitting here right now in front of our laptops and we'll probably spend the whole night like this. But anyway, happy 19th birthday Kuya Mark! I may be a brat, (a cute brat) but u kno i luv u <3 xo. Yay! You're one step closer to death! <3

Okay, moving on. So my friends came over today and we did a little work on our term paper.

I picked them up from the Mall of Asia and we headed back to my house. But before all of that, let me just narrate to you how unfortunate I was today and what had happened today was just one of the most embarrassing moments ever.

When my Aunt and I reached MoA, the loafers (that were undeniably over-used) that I was wearing gave up on me and the left sole literally dislocated itself from the shoe itself. (I KNOW) And we were in the middle of the way towards the entrance, so...people...staring...And we had to ask for some scotch tape from the nearby Shawarma stand so we can tape the sole back to place. :-( I figured it won't hold up long enough for me to get out of there so we headed straight to the department store to buy shoes. Good thing there was this certain shoe brand that sells 2 pairs for 399 php! And their shoes are so fab!

(Ignore the shoes at the left-most part because those were my Mom's from the year 2000.) Now I have three favorite pairs of shoes! Yaaaay!

Moving on to the Harlem Shake part...Just watch this video, it will explain everything.

Made these illustrations for Fiel because I just had to. I'm so excited for the outcome of this ~*project*~, so let us all hope for the best.

Neglecting leads to destruction

It's been 3—4?—days since I posted something about installing a blogspot on the iTouch and finally being able to post "more". Apparently I've realized that no matter how much I try to push away the school work even for just a few minutes, it is just impossible. With the rate of course requirements that were given to us last week, I don't think I would be able to update until next next week. So yeah, I'm sorry.

Anyway, look! I changed my Tumblr theme back to the old one because yes, I am more comfortable with Greying and I was nowhere near satisfied with how my blog looked.

Tadaaaaaaaa~

I've also managed to write a few reviews on these books

and you can find that review, here!

And in other news, I drew something for my best girl Fiel yesterday!

She got me swooning all day yesterday and the night before that because of this "story" she wrote. I hope she posts it soon because my feelings can't be controlled anymore. I hope she reads this because I'm actually making a few more sketches for this story. Ahhhhhh~~~

That's about it really. My gurls Bettina and AJ are coming over tomorrow, Bettsu's going to stay overnight and we're going to finish our term paper...hopefully. So wish us luck!

Greetings!!

Hello! So I've finally found a new and easy way to update my blog more often now, it probably won't solve my lack of daily posts but it will probably help! Anyway, I'm suffering from a cold right now and I have no clue where or who I got it from. (It's probably from our cursed weather) I hope I get well soon though, I can't manage being sick right now since I have a lot to do.

So for now, have this really sickly photo of yours truly!

(Excuse me tired face and Panda eyes)

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturd-d-d-d-day (Feb. 13, 14, 15 and 16)

Uhm, yes hi! I am literally about to cry in agony as of now because we are waaaay behind our scheduled deadlines at the Uni. I'm supposed to have things done by yesterday but guess what? Our community outreach consumed every single minute and second of my day, so yay...NO.

Anyway, here is a little recap of the past week starting Wednesday. (Photo dump)

Finally, a photo with Jun Chen. Yeah, seriously.

(Heehehehheheh hello Jun Chen.)

Andddd another one.

Bettsu.

Girlie & Bettsu.

Haha. Mixed Messages.

We have the weirdest library ever.

And....Kim, everybody.

Honestly, it was tiring as hell taking care of these children. But we learned a lot from them and I'm happy to say that they learned a lot from us too.

That's all folks! Let's continue to pray for my survival until this term ends.

Way behind schedule (February 10, 11 and 12, 2013)

For the trillionth time evaaaar, I apologize for being such a bad blog owner. I just realized now how limited my time is compared to when I was younger. These past few days were spent either away at the Uni or at home, doing all the term paper-related stuff. Honestly, I'm not used to using up about 95% of my time on school work, but this time it's necessary so I have to do it whether I like it or not. Ugh.

So, basically, this post will just be about me ranting about how difficult it has been during the past week and this week (and probably the week ahead).

To start off, I have been dealing with a lot of crappy people since last Monday. Okay. God, I don't know why I'm even surprised about this, I mean it's already given that there are a  lot of crappy people everywhere but wow, I just did not expect that I'd be one to encounter them.

Number two, I have so much to do. OH MY GOD??? I don't even know if it's even possible to have all of it done by the 26th.

Things to finish by the 26th:
  • English Term Paper output #4
  • Rizal course requirement (Interview a foreign ambassador or make a scrapbook)
  • Filipino course requirement (Scrapbook, contact unreliable groupmates and make sure they're still alive then proceed to executing them for being unreliable)
  • Chemistry course requirement (Scrapbook)
  • Find U-week passport sheet for Rel. Ed.
  • Stay alive
That's about it. If I manage to not live (which is most likely to happen) before the 26th, I will apologize as early as now for the abandonment of this blog. I just wish everything would decided to flow smoothly because I think I'm already too tired enough to for extra stress and problems.

Number three, I can't go to the UP Fair and I know...I suck, I really want to but there're a lot more things I need to do and sacrifices for the love of grades and graduating with decent grades.

Number four, I haven't watched Warm Bodies. I SUCK SO MUCH, I KNOW. I swore I would watch it this week but I guess I can't...again. The time just won't match. It's either I cut classes or watch the last full show which would unlikely happen because I'm not allowed to leave the household at that time of day.

So yeah, that's about all the ranting I've got for yah.

In other news!! Elision's interview with William Beckett was posted last night already so check it out here!

And, you have got to watch this too. You will not regret it, my friend.

Plaridel (February 9, 2013)

We (actually) had fun on our trip to Plaridel, but it would've been more fun if Ishay was around. But unfortunately, she woke up late and wasn't able to come with. The community outreach was honestly boring, but there were a few moments of laughter whilst we wither under the striking heat of the sun.

We all arrived to this small "subdivision" where the houses all looked the same, and everything was made out of bamboo and cement. (Yes, bamboo and cement!) And near the entrance was this open ground where there altar was at. I found it somehow humortastically creepy when we were instructed to go there.

"I bet they're going to cut out our flesh and sacrifice us." I stated.

Bettina, one of my closest friends, replied. "Sacrifice all the virgins!!"

Ah...good times.

(From L to R) Kim, Me, Bettina and Aj. (ISHAY WE WISH U WERE THERE)

Why do we keep having the same positions omfg.

It's good to hang out with Lorenz again.

(From L to R) AJ, Angel, Marinel and yours truly.

I am not sorry for this Bettina.

All in all, it was great. But not perfectly great, but we had fun and I learned some things and met new people. So, hooray!

February 6, 7 and 8, 2013

A collection of photo dumps and new, wonderful announcements!

I've also decided to add in a few twist to this, like including an outfit that I've constructed via Polyvore.

Elision. So far, our webzine had started to bloom like beautiful flower in spring--and I'm quite proud of us. We've done several interviews with highly known artists, authors and bands...and even Youtubers! (YES!)

Our recent interview is with Ezra Miller's (YES, the Ezra Miller!!) band, Sons of an Illustrious Father. And may I just say, "they are really good" is an understatement. Because they are more than "really good", no seriously. You guys can check out their interview in our website! Thisiselision (click, click) you will not regret anything.

It's about time we celebrate New Year number dos. Our family had had this tradition since I was a little kid, we would never miss celebrating the Chinese New Year. I never really figured out why, nor bothered asking the parent about it. It's not bad or anything though, we actually have fun whilst celebrating it and eating the infamous "Tikoy". And the other night, I took the chance to document all these Chinese figurines/vases that Mama owned. It's amazing how her collection had grown bigger over the past years. I mean, just look at it! (Now I'm starting to question whether we're actually somehow Chinese or something). Anyway, hopefully we'd get to celebrate it this time again and we can eat tikoy. Tikoy for everybody!!!!!

In other news, this is Sir Teng. Everyone loves him, no seriously. He's our Logic professor and he tends to make our brains bleed every time in his class. Saying that he's "such a kind person" would totally be an understatement, because wow--I just can't explain how kind, understanding and patient he is. I. JUST. CAN'T.

Anyway, I apologize for this very stalker-esque shot of him. He was in a middle of a very heated discussion about the Laws of Thought. I swear, I was listening. I just had to take do it for today's random post. Sorry Sir Teng, we lab u!!

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnddd...

We went to the mall today, and this is what I saw near the Cinemas. I wanted to sob because I haven't watched it yet. (YES I KNOW!! I AM SUCH A LOSER) But yeah, I was this close to taking a selfie with Nick Hoult. HA HA HA.

That's about it for today, really. Sorry, this post is probably the most random I've ever made. Tomorrow will be different though! I will be at Plaridel, Bulacan for our Uni's immersion. (Can everybody say NO) I'm just going to be really honest here and say that I don't like "immersions" because it makes me anxious and uncomfortable. I'm a horrible person, I know. But hey, let's hope I/we have a good time tomorrow and learn life lessons!!

Long Live The Car Crash Hearts (FOBreruary 3, 4 and 5, 2013)

Before I begin spazzing about the comeback of the one and only Fall Out Boy, let me start with a greeting for my beloved nephew, Xander, who turned six last Sunday.

Hey baby boy, you've grown up so fast. I can't handle this. *sobs* I can't believe you're already six, and you're a Kuya now. Take care of Uno, okay? Study hard and be the jolly, friendly, cheerful kid as always. I love you and you know that! And I'm sorry I suck at being a godmother and an Aunt as of now. But I promise, as soon as I graduate, I'll lavish you with more good stuff that you can imagine. Plus, I'm making you listen to Fall Out Boy. Okay? I love you bby boy. <3

And now, let's give it up for

Fall Out Boy is back, everybody.

I literally could not suppress my emotions last night when they officially announced their comeback, and so did the rest of the world. Their shows sold out in less than an hour, ha suck that Bieber. Jesus holy. I don't think I'm capable of expressing what I'm feeling right now without cursing or screaming through the internet, because gGAHAHHGAGAGHDHUEUGIGIGHAGGDHSHDGHSDHG FALL OUT FUCKING BOY IS BACK. After about what, 3 or 4 years? I've finally realized why I haven't quit being a fan. Maybe I was waiting for them all along (I probably was, okay). GOD. I was shaking really hard last night and maybe so was everyone else. We were all surprised by this. I mean, some of us might have seen it coming. BUT NOT ME, OH MY GOD. I WAS NOT FULLY MENTALLY, EMOTIONALLY AND PHYSICALLY PREPARED. When I saw their music video, jesus god help me--I almost puked on the floor because of its perfection. There was no doubt that I was sent into deep (Marianas Trench deep) nostalgia. I was chanting "Long live the Car Crash Hearts" all night long until I fell asleep. And up to now, I'm still chanting it inside my head.

Thank you for coming back, Fall Out Boy. You must be pretty disappointed about the music industry as of now, but you're back! Which means everything will be at peace again, and we will create more disaster and burn things because FAYAAAAAAAH.

Everything is fine now. Everything is Fall Out Boy. Everything is fine.

And that makes up for everything.

Oh, and before you go!

WATCH IT.
