It's been a spooktacular November starter.
And to commemorate this year's wonderful Halloween, here is a post in summary of how we spent our last day of October and first day of November.
It has been indeed a great 10 months for us. The past days have been filled with too many adventures that it's gotten pretty hard to count in two hands. It's amazing, yet baffling how time wasted by so fast. Because in a span of a month (or even less than month), it'll be Christmas then. And in a few days, New Year. There's so much happenings and it just feels overwhelming. The people around me had treated me kindly, and I'm grateful to them. Yes, there's been a lot of changes but change is somehow good.
Anyway, our rather huge extended-family got a new addition! He came to us in surprise and when we least expected him. But we welcomed him warmly and wholeheartedly, especially in his condition. On the night of October 31st, one of my Mom's clients sent her a text message that she was heading to near cemetery (to probably visit a relative) and had brought the pup with them. I and my sister had just finished putting make-up on our Aunt who was about to attend some kind of event at Heritage Park (the near cemetery), she was going as one of the dolls in The Conjuring.
Here's a photo. (Hahah! I actually think we nailed it!)

And on my way back to the usual den, my Mom called me to go with our Kuya/Driver to pick up the pup from her client. So off we went! When we finally got him, my heart almost broke into a million tiny pieces. Because he was the cutest I've ever seen! We were also told that he was a mix of a mutt and a Doberman. No wonder his paws were too big for his frail body. The pup was scared, and he was placed inside a box of tuyo (Dried fish) which was why he smelled pretty bad. It was so obvious that he wasn't taken well care of. And I figured that was why they gave him to us. From then on, I knew we were going to love the pup as much as we loved Milo.
And so Diego was brought forth to our household. We assumed that he's only about more than a month old. He was so skinny when we got him, not to mention hungry too! :-( When we got home, I made Milo smell for a while but my boy got to excited so I had to take Diego away. It only took him about an hour to get used to our house. (Can you believe that!!??! It was purely amazing!!!!!@!@!) We fed him rice with meatloaf and he gobbled it up, leaving no trace of food in the dog bowl. I realized his previous owners didn't probably feed him before taking him to us.
I am very happy to say that Diego and Milo are both living well in our household now, although we have to put Diego in a cage during night time because he might sneak out or get hurt. He's still on the process of getting to know all of us even more, but it's safe to say that he is absolutely the sweetest dog ever! He even plays with Milo like he's his Dad. Hahaha! Milo, on the other hand, is trying his best not to pounce on the Diego when he gets too annoyed. Oh! And also, Diego might turn out to be a guard dog too. Because he's overly-protective of his territory and literally growls/barks at people he can't recognize.
You see, I'm probably the happiest person on earth right now for having these two with us. It also made me consider the fact that I might take on a career that deals with animals when I grow up! Hahaha.
Moving on. We visited Ate Camille on her grave at Makati Cemetery last November 1! Because of the experience, we all mutually decided to go earlier than the usual. Since the last time, we literally had to go grave hopping just to reach my sister's spot.
I still miss her even though we never really got to meet at all. She passed away right after she was born. I'm still sad whenever I hear her story. Also, you might probably think it's weird that we have the same name. Actually, I'm "Anne Camille". So basically I was probably partly named after her.
And then we headed straight to Star City right after, just like the good ol' days! We didn't get Ride-All-You-Can tickets though, we just wanted to look around and eat food. Hahaha! Oh, how times have changed.
We also stumbled upon this super cute T-Rex, having a cuppa on top of a defeated Triceratops. No, like seriously, this was the most posh thing I've ever seen in my entire life.
SERIOUSLY, I JUST
Here's us! Minus Mom, Auntie Neng and Ate Tess. :-(
And of course, the day ended with my Brother and I watching a couple of Yamishibai: Japanese Ghost Stories. Yes, because recently all we've been doing are watching animes and reading mangas.
