Back to the game

Hello, hello! April's about to come to an end and that fact--somehow--makes me feel a bit gloomy. But anyway, I'm 5000% sure that the month of May has stored a lot of good things waiting to happen to all of us! Like the Circuit Festival, for one. On May 25th, a lot of beautiful and talented people will be coming over to our country for a very fun and exciting (and exhausting!) show! I plan to go, but I'm not really sure yet. I hope get to go though.

Anyway, I joined their Poster Design contest and submitted my entry today. Thanks to my sister, I found the perfect color combination for the poster I made.

Yeah, it's not much but I'm trying out my luck! So wish me all the good ones!

April Babies

This month has been filled with a lot of celebrations. And I'm not complaining at all! It's quite a blessing y'know, because most of the people that I love and adore were born this month.

The person I know (maybe not personally) and adore who celebrated his birthday this month is none other than the Gerard Way! *Pops the confetti*

Look at that beautiful fiery Red hair.

Second  is my most favorite Scottish person in the entire galaxy *wink wink* David Tennant! *screams like a catatonic fangirl*

When I started watching Doctor Who, I thought I'd regret it but then I didn't and I'm glad because all the feels and pain and happiness and anger that I feel when I look at his face is worth it. <3

Third wonderful person to celebrate her birthday is my main girl Eunice!! Happy 18th! I'm so happy that you're finally legal!

LAST NIGHT WAS A BLAST. (or maybe it was the other night, Idk my time/body clock is so messed up right now)

AND TEN TEN NE NEN. Guess who turned 25 today? My sister Sharkmaine/Chrrrmaine/Ate Cha!!! (Link to her blog

IT WAS TOO MUCH FUN. Oh and if you look over there, you can see the TARDIS I made for my sister since I couldn't afford the real/actual toy TARDIS. Sigh hashtah third world problens. Anyway, she loved it and I'm glad she did. Also, I thank David Tennant and Billie Piper for being able to come despite their tight schedules. (LOL LOL)

She also ordered these really cool cupcakes with Doctor Who characters on it. I took the liberty of taking the one with the Ood, because God knows how much I love Oods. IT IS ALSO TOO DAMN DELICIOUS, you guys should check them out!

Here is their Facebook book page: The Regali Kitchen

And so yeah, that's about it. These people are just wonderful, and I'm glad I get to witness and be a part of their birthday celebrations (except David and Gerard)

Quite right, too.

After weeks of trying to get this TV Series out of my system, I'm sad to say that I've completely failed. Normally, I could just easily distract myself  from watching an episode or two. But apparently, the force is strong on this one.

List of reasons why I can't get over Tenth and Rose:
  • Because
  • can't
  • you
  • see?
  • They
  • just
  • fit
  • together
  • perfectly
  • GDI
Not to mention my hardcore passion for the Dallie/Bavid otp. I mean come on! You'd be lying if you say that they don't look great together.

So yeah, that's me as of now. Completely and utterly ruined by the sole existence of Doctor Who. If I could just tone it down a bit, then I'd really appreciate that. Also, I apologise for being such a slacker lately. There's nothing to blog about since all I've been doing for the past days was watch you-know-what and sleep because the internet hasn't been cooperating. It almost makes me want to throw the WiFi router into deep space, if only we didn't need it that much.

Vacation is Over (might contain spoilers)

And the feels are just getting started.

My good friends, I arrived from Cebu two days ago with overly tanned skin and back pains from going around the airport with a backpack that's almost as huge as I am. Anyway, let me tell you a little bit about my vacation (which I will be dividing into two parts)

Part 1: The Invitation

When we arrived our house in Cebu, the siblings and I wasted no time in settling down at the bedroom. Little did we know that our AC was broken so we had to endure the scorching heat of the summer sun during our first day there (just great). Anyway, my older sister brought her external hard drive with her--which meant we had an endless supply of good movies, tv series, etc.--and I thought it would be great to grab the opportunity to finally watch Doctor Who. So watch it, I did.

Needless to say, Season 1 was freaking amazing. Extraordinary events (i.e.: Inanimate objects coming to life) starts happening and Rose Tyler still thinks its an ordinary day. Plus, that ~*thing*~ between her and the Doctor slipped in so naturally, I didn't even realize I was already shipping them until I reached what? The 4th or 5th episode?

And also, the last episode literally broke me apart...Until David Tennant appeared on screen.

Part 2: The Second Season

If there was one thing I've learned throughout watching the first and second seasons of Doctor Who, it is that you will never ever be prepared for every episode of Season 2. No matter how hard you try to think of the possibilities that could happen...when the Doctor and Rose do this:

So yeah, I'm just going to go ahead and spend the remaining days of my summer vacation crying over this TV series.

Temporary Farewell

The family (minus one) and I will be taking a trip to our beloved province, Cebu, today! I'm quite excited and that also means limited internet service for five straight days!!!!!!! My brother realized this yesterday and began to panic even though we still have our wireless broadband *snorts*.

Anyway, since I probably won't be able to post anything for about a week (probably), I'm saying a proper
"see ya later" for now. So yeah, I guess that's it.

I will see you in 5 (or 7 days)!

Also, check out kickthepj's new video!

You'll probably enjoy it as much as I did.

Something New

Finally, I've stopped procrastinating!! (I put the blame on you Dan Howell, Phil Lester, PJ Ligouri and Chris Kendall!! Joke...but not joke) These past days were spent wasted and watching Youtube videos. I literally did nothing, like nothing. I'm not proud of it, never will be. But here I am now! Alive and kicking! I made a few changes on the blog.

  1. Blog URL: littlenewthings > automaticac (Read as Automatic A.C. not Automaticac)
  2. Blog banner and sidebar photo: I just thought it'd be nice to change some things once in a while
That's about it really. Also Mama bought me a new watercolour set today, because I asked her if she could buy me one this morning. (SHE DID. HOLY CRAP)

Yay! Now all I need is watercolour paper. It's a bit expensive-ish for paper but I guess I'll just use an alternative for now (not watercolour paper D:).

And before this post ends, I'd like all of you to take some time and watch this video by kickthepj.

You will not regret watching this, I promise.

Nine freaking Days!

I've been gone for that long? Oh, my god! I feel like such an irresponsible person. Okay, let me just explain how everything went down for the last couple of days. Our internet--particularly the WiFi--has been messing with us recently. It pisses me off how every single time I try to make a post, the WiFi would just suddenly disappear. But it's back now and there's no need to worry because I've managed to keep track of what had happened the past few days, and I will put it below. I just need the internet connection to not mess up right now while I'm making this post, so yeah.

Drew this last Wednesday. Is there anyone out there who can colour it?

--

Yesterday was a complete bust, I literally didn't do anything. I just read This Is What Happy Looks Like and I'm almost halfway through it. It is so good! Everyone should read it!

Today was good though! I felt sort of really productive with all the things I did.

Wooooo! Packed up for our vacation in Cebu next week, I'm too freaking excited to finally visit Malapascua and swim by the shipwreck and with the sharks.

Mom and I also took a short trip to the mall to buy a fluorescent light for our bedroom and my coloring pens. And then we went to Saizen to look for some clothes for Milo, bought him this Blue Hawaiian shirt (we also got a Yellow one!)

*Sabog confetti* Now we can get to making more Art, and I can finally finish vandalizing my This Is Not A Book this summer. Plus tomorrow, I shall have photos printed!!
