8123 Means Everything To Me

I don't think I have ever felt this privileged in my entire life as an 18-year old average girl.

Originally, I was not supposed to attend the 8123 Tour here in Manila. It was already decided, last December, that my budget really wasn't cut out for the ticket prices. Typically, I resorted to joining the last minute contests and the lot. And as usual, I never really did win.

And then Sunday (January 12 // Day of the Show) came, and I received a Facebook message from an old friend I met through Twitter. She used to run this certain account for Kennedy Brock, which Kennedy himself follows back, and I thought it was really cool that she's a Filipino like me. So we got acquainted, and became good friends. But the thing is I have never met her, ever--well until the 8123 show, that is. Ate Joy (her name), offered me her ticket at the bleacher for free. (CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!?!? OF ALL PEOPLE IN THIS PLANET, SHE ASKED ME>>!>!>!) And despite my apparent en devour because of the distance from my home to the venue, I still accepted it. Hashtag medyo rebel!!!

Apart from the show, some of my internet BFFizzles had originally planned to hang around the Sky Dome even if they weren't going to watch. What they knew was I wouldn't be able to make it because I had no transportation, but I braved the LRT together with Ate Julienne and surprised all of them with my presence.

It was so much fun to hang with them again. Plus, we were filled with so much laughter and nostalgia. We even called ourselves "Veterans" because we honestly didn't know a lot of people who attended the concerts anymore! We've been doing this for so long, haha!

The concert bebehs.

I was a bit far and only had my iTouch with me. So here is all that I can give you.

Sadly, I wasn't able to wait out until the free M&G Signing. It was almost 12 midnight and I had an 8 AM class the next day. So I left my drawing to Ian and thank goodness she was able to give it to John! And also got me a signature from Kennedy!

Means Everything

I can't wait to post about my 8123 Tour experience. I'll get on it as soon as possible.

Cousins

Also, Christmas was pretty special this year because my siblings and I got to spend time with our cousins (and we were complete!!!!).

Hello, 2014

A summary of our New Year's Eve and New Year celebration.

Family photos will never not happen.

Had to tend to the doggies since the neighbours were setting up firecrackers and it scared them. :-(

My all-time favourite Aunt, struggling from carrying the massive baby.

This is my cousin, Kuya Jo/Julius (fave cousin ^__^). This dude taught me how to rock it with the guitar. "\m/"

The selfy master in haus doing her thing.

This is such a bad ass photo, IDC what u say.

And I leave you with my face. HAPPY 2014 EVERYBODY!!

Merry, Jolly Christmas!

It is never too late for a Christmas post!

I'm very happy and enthusiastic about this year's Christmas celebration as it is rather different from the past ones we've had. It wasn't all about receiving the grandest gifts nor giving them. Basically it was just about having fun and actually celebrating. Since this year has been quite rough for some, if not all, of us. There were more downs more than ups, probably. And we were faced with challenges that we didn't think we could handle. But we did, and here we are. Strong and very much alive in 2014!

Anyway, here's the breakdown of the events.

CHRISTMAS EVE!

(Facebook, why must you ruin a photo with an amazing quality??)

The Obligatory Family portrait.

Get this party started!!!!!!! This is literally the only thing I did the entire term break (:eat).

PARTY.

Me, obviously enjoying the party.

Sibling photo. Where is the brother??!?!?

Ended the night with this:

Yes, that is a sandok. Serving spoon (kind of) for Rice.

CHRISTMAS DAY!

Actually, the entire pre-Christmas celebration wore us out. So we just decided to stay in the entire day until dawn, and headed out for dinner.

Banapple was the place to be (at Mckinley Hills). We kind of figured everyone's going to be out and about with their Christmas day plans so we headed for the place where people would less likely go to. We were right!!!

(That's right, no food pictures. We were too hungry for that!!!)

Anyway, we also grabbed milk teas before heading back. Christmas was very much well-spent!

Rekindling Old Bonds

As you all might have already known, I came from Tumblr (I still am in Tumblr??). And in the mid-2013, I decided to take a hiatus on my Tl;dr Blog over there. I moved here and found myself being more familiar until I've completely lost connection with my good 'ol Tl;dr. But though I have changed paths, the blog still remains there and the memories are still around.

AND THEN, I decided to go back to Tumblr once more and try it out. You know, 2014; new year and new stuff.
