Hello, hello! It's finally our term break and there no words to describe how much I'm looking forward to all the productiveness (that I probably won't be able to do)!
Anyway, as some of you might have not known yet, I traveled to Singapore (for the first time ever!!) last month with my Mom and Sister! It lasted for about 3 days (which really wasn't long enough), but we absolutely had so much fun exploring the insides of S'pore. We didn't get to go around much as we wanted to since a) we sucked at figuring out the bus routes and b) walking for a really long time could really numb your legs.
(the following photos were taken by Sharkmaine/my sister)
We stayed in a backpacker's hostel called Mitraa Inn along Serangoon Road. And for an Inn, it was pretty neat. I think the best part about staying there was the road lights during the evening. It's a like there's festival everyday. Also, not to mention the very kind people who helped us out in navigating our way through.
Our first day consisted a lot of Universal Studios Singapore. Okay, this would probably sound very lame when I say that it's my first time flying out of the country so I got too excited about Universal Studios. We took the train to mostly anywhere and it was pretty crowded when we got there since it was Saturday.
PEOPLE WHAT
Frankenduuuuude!
Pinocchio pls
Check out my new ride ??? I kidd.
Maaaaan.
Okay, so this was a real life Bumblebee ok. It was moving around with its cool wheels and all, and we wanted to take a picture but as soon as we went near it, the staff said Bumblebee had to leave. I kinda felt so upset about it. (BECAUSE THIS HAPPENED TWICE THAT DAY)
I ate a Turkey leg for the first time. Hashtag happy! :-)
So cool, I am telling you. Ride this ride.
It looks smaller in real life. :-( But nonetheless, IT'S A LEGIT CASTLE.
Lastly, this show. It's so beautiful, I'm telling you.
All in all, I'd give it a 4 our 5 stars because our feet were aching halfway through. Plus, some people were rude and all, although most were really kind. And I saw a lot of cute boys whom I had 10-second eye contacts with, hahahahahah!!
2ND DAY
I got the privilege to visit the Singapore Zoo! I don't think words are enough to fathom my happiness on our way there. It turns out that there are actually buses who stop by a certain station to pick up anyone who's heading to the zoo since it's in a quite secluded area. Five points to Singapore for considering the environment of the animals!!!
First time seeing a Polar Bear, I s2g I freaked out.
Dis face.
I fed an Elephant
I fed a Giraffe
Look at us being BFFizzles and all.
Yes, that day was indeed very memorable.
After our trip to the zoo, we headed back to go around China Town, Orchard Road, visit the Merlion and drag ourselves through Marina Bay Sands! We also got to visit ArtFriend and Cat Socrates at the Bras Basah complex.
We were supposed to eat at someplace else but sadly, they were closed for Autumn cleaning (I think). So we ate here and no regrets! Their Hainanese Chicken tasted great!
Look at all these Copic Markers that I never got to buy.
And this is Chestnut The Cat from Cat Socrates!
Well, don't I look dashing?
Their dirty ice cream = almost like expensive ice cream here in the PH. Plus it's in between wafers!
So ~touristy~!
That butt (boat).
I was kinda bummed out because we didn't get to go inside that museum. :-(
3RD DAY
Our last day in S'pore was spent heading back to Sentosa and riding the Cable Car, and going to Candylicious for good dose of sweets.
